Shutter Story Game is not owned, operated, or endorsed by Bad Vices Games. We aggregate public information for news and educational commentary. All opinions belong to the volunteer editors.

We reproduce limited excerpts under fair-use doctrines to explain mechanics, track updates, or discuss accessibility. If you believe something exceeds fair use, follow the DMCA process below.

Submitting a DMCA Notice

Email contact@shutterstorygame.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice” and include:

  1. The URL of each allegedly infringing page.
  2. Clear identification of the original copyrighted work.
  3. Your name, organization (if applicable), mailing address, and phone number.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We acknowledge complete notices within two business days and typically resolve them within five business days.

Counter Notices

If you believe material was removed in error, reply to the original takedown thread with:

  • The URLs that were removed or disabled.
  • Your contact information and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of your local federal court (or competent authority outside the U.S.).
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
  • Your signature.

We forward valid counter notices to the original complainant and may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless we receive notice of legal action.

Ad & Content Standards

Content is reviewed to ensure it does not include explicit imagery, hateful conduct, or other categories prohibited by the Google Publisher Policies. Ads delivered via Google AdSense are filtered to remove sensitive categories, and any sponsored material will be labeled prominently.

If you encounter an ad or outbound link that appears unsafe, email us with screenshots so we can block the advertiser and notify Google.

Policy Updates & Contact
